My senior year has been anything but typical. My first semester was spent living in my parent's house in St. Louis. I learned new skills and spent a lot of time with my family. As I prepare to move back to Chicago in January, here are some pictures that represent my semester.

I started making and selling masks on Etsy — Schnable Sews. I've done 27 sells and made $300.

ree
I overcame my fear of others during the pandemic and started grocery shopping for my family.

ree
I voted in a presidential election for the first time ever.

ree
I babysat for a cardiothoracic surgeon and spent my nights poolside.

ree
My dog, Finlay, spent many hours trying to distract me from virtual learning.

ree
I covered Maryland Heights and Pattonville School District for my beat in my journalism capstone.

ree
I spent a week in Chicago after being stuck in St. Louis the whole semester. I ended up getting to safely hang out with my friend, Emily.

ree
My brother was hospitalized three separate times so I spent time visiting him in the hospital and playing Among Us with him.

ree
I learned the art of the charcuterie board. I've made three since I started.

ree
I visited the pumpkin patch with my cousins and found the perfect pumpkin for roasting seeds.
